The Rx.com Mod Team has created this Service Play sub-forum in order to supply an area for Rx Service Play Posters to expand upon their posting topics without creating a logjam in the main forum where the three principle threads are maintained..

Posters can track services here if they care to but we will need any trackers to do so in an accurate and civil manner. We did not create this area for posters to ridicule or bash any services..

You can also discuss who is hot and who is not. The general state of the pay for plays industry and any other subject or topic related to service plays.

You can also create individual threads about specific services and discuss them freely but civilly. Again bashing and abusive treatment of any services will not be tolerated.

Please remember, this forum is not here for regular posters who cap their own games to post ther daily plays. Please use our individual sport forums to post your plays. Professional cappers (those that sell plays) must remain in the Site Promotion Forum.

The Rx.com will not tolerate posters that post false records of any services they track. Please be truthful if you decide to track a particular service.

Lastly The Rx Moderators are appealing to you our everyday posters to report any promotional threads or posts that are made by services or individual touts. No links or contact information to an individual service will be allowed. Just the name of the service. Please report any threads or posts that are promotional attempts by services and touts to use this forum to promote themselves..

Posters can easily report a promotional post by using the triangular Report-a-Post Icon at the bottom left of all post boxes. The poster name of any poster who reports a post that is out of line will be kept strictly confidential.

I will leave this thread open for a month to take questions and do my best to answer them. I will check in daily but am off on Wednesday and Thursday.

I hope this additional Service Play Forum will satisfy those posters that would like to widen the scope of topics relating to service plays and the industry in general to have their own threads. Mods will be liberal as possible regarding topics but this forum was specifically created to allow you more freedom to express your ideas regarding service plays and related subject matter. No off topic threads will be allowed.

Thank you, wilheim

5-Unit Play (Game of the Week). #211 Take Baltimore (-1.5) over Cincinnati (1 p.m., Sunday, September 19)

Cincy looked awful in their opener, and while I don't expect them to be that bad again, I feel good about Baltimore's offense having a better game themselves after some mistakes against the Jets. And this is a big game for the Ravens, with the chance to knock a division opponent to 0-2 and boost their own mark to 2-0, knowing their schedule begins with two playoff teams from a season ago. Joe Flacco outplays Carson Palmer and the running game behind Ray Rice comes with it as well. Ravens take down the Bengals.

5 Unit Play. #214 Take Tennessee -5 over Pittsburgh (1:00p.m., Sunday, Sept.19)

(Game of the Weekend) Another game for the Pittsburgh Steelers without Big Ben but the big factor in this game is that Steelers defense could be missing two big factors. Pittsburgh Steelers defense could be missing Tackle Max Starks and Nose Tackle Casey Hampton and if this is true, look for a big rushing game from the Titans. Pittsburgh struggles against the spread in the beginning of the season and in the month of September the Steelers are 1-6 ATS. Should be a great fight of a game but with Dixon as the starting QB for Pittsburgh I will bet against him and take Vince Young all day long in this matchup.

2 Unit Play. #218 Take Dallas -7 ½ over Chicago (1:00p.m., Sunday, Sept. 19)

Chicago comes to Texas with controversy of their win over the Lions but this game should have no controversy as the Cowboys will have no problem with the Bears. The Cowboys were horrible in Washington last week and that game should be a wake up call for the Boys. Chicago is 1-5 ATS in their last 6 road games and the Cowboys are 6-2 ATS in their last 8 home games.

2 Unit Play. #224 Take Minnesota -5 ½ over Miami (1:00p.m., Sunday, Sept. 19)

Extra time off could only help the Vikings and their elderly QB Brett Favre. The Viking held their own in New Orleans and had plenty of chances to win that game. Look for a better overall game for the Vikings as they pick up their first 'W' of the season.

3 Unit Play. #226 Take Oakland -3 ½ over St. Louis (4:15p.m., Sunday, Sept. 12)

Last week the Raiders got beat up by the Titans but this week the Raiders go home and play the lonely Rams. A big factor that I like in this game is that rookie QB Sam Bradford for the Rams will be visiting the 'Black Hole' for the first time and this could be very traumatizing. Look for the Raiders defense to pressure the rookie QB and give the Rams another loss. Oakland is 4-0 ATS following a SU loss and the Rams are 2-7-1 ATS in Week #2.

8-Unit Play. Take #218. Take Dallas Cowboys -7.5 over Chicago Bears (Sunday @ 1:00pm est).

Let's be honest, the Cowboys should have won that game on Monday Night Football. I actually think Romo is a pretty nice guy and feel bad and the bad luck that surrounds this team - on the road - in divisional games. But, when this team returns home, they are very strong, in particular off a loss, with their crowd behind them. Bear in mind that Dallas is one of those teams, that have a fan base that is simply nuts and they expect certain things from "America's Team". The Cowboys consistently came back from losses last season to end up winning by two touchdowns when they returned home. Tack on the fact that the Bears come off a big win over the Lions at home, and they are in for a let down spot. Note, that the Bears were likely going to lose that game if Stafford remained in that game in its entirety, and even with that, they still should have won the game as indeed it was a catch in the end of the game, but as the rules stand as thy are, it doesn't allow for it to be a score - but it still doesn't deny the fact it was a catch. Nevertheless, if Cutler and company struggled against the Lions at home, imagine what they might face against a Cowboys team who have had to hear all the nonsense that they would have to hear leading up to this game about how the Cowboys have started the season 0-1 against a divisional opponent. I expect Romo and company to have a strong game here to continue to pour on the scoring even in the second half. Remember, the Bears are a team that struggled on the road last year losing to Cleveland 10-13, losing to San Diego 10-25 and losing to Baltimore 7-31. The Bears are 2-8 ATS in their last 10 games overall and 1-5 ATS in their last six road games. The Cowboys are 6-2 ATS in their last eight games at home.

5 Unit Play Take #224 Minnesota -5.5 over Miami (1:00pm est):

Week 2 of the NFL of the NFL season is all about overreaction and no team is getting more then Minnesota for their week 1 game, Everyone needs to keep in mind the Vikings had the toughest opener of anyone by having to go on the road and play the Super Bowl champion Saints. Things get a whole lot easier for the Vikings in week 2 as they find themselves is somewhat a must win situation here.

Minnesota has went 5-2 ATS following a loss and have beaten 4 straight opponents with winning road records like the Dolphins bring into this game. Miami has been notorious slow starters for years as they have went just 2-10-2 ATS in September the last few years. This Dolphins team is not a playoff team yet and looked just okay last week in their road win against the lowly Bills.
